We started by helping Great Western Malt with their rebrand and shortly after implemented a completely new package designs for their product offerings. The old bags were tired and true and very old-school agribusiness style.
Their customers are brewers and distillers. We wanted to engage them more with the Pacific Northwest brand attributes and connect the products more with a story and imagery. We came up with unique creative and new names for many of the malts so that brewers and distillers could connect with the products more than a number and label. The story was not only printed on the bag but each bag had a custom sell sheet designed to match.
Each unique malt name presented us with the challenge to create a story that reconnected to the brand foundation and personality of Great Western Malt.
New spider/flavor charts were designed and implemented into the back of the bags, along with the product info helpful for brewing. Not only were these bags well received from brewers and distillers, we made a splash in the industry by standing out from their competition!
